I drew this
while on a weekend trip to Palm Springs for my nieces 5th birthday.
When the day was winding down (kids were going to bed!) we sat
outside with the fire pit blazing and were enjoying some casual
conversation when . . . SWOOSH! The brightest, biggest, most colorful
meteor I've ever seen passed right before our eyes! It skimmed
across the sky just above a palm tree and then disappeared behind
a neighbor's fence! It was so close you could actually hear it
pass by. . . TOTALLY AWESOME ! ! ! ! !
This drawing doesn't do it justice
but I missed the opportunity for a photo . . . |
